Our Herdade da Lisboa Alicante Bouschet 2021 was included in the Best of the Year 2024, in the Alentejo region, by Grandes Escolhas. The Herdade da Lisboa range is a premium collection of varietal wines, with limited and exclusive editions of the best harvests of each variety and each year.

From the 2021 harvest, we launched Herdade da Lisboa Alicante Bouschet (red), which achieved this distinction, as well as Herdade da Lisboa Arinto (white) and Herdade da Lisboa Syrah (rosé).

VARIETIES: 100% Alicante Bouschet

VINIFICATION: Manual selection on a vibrating sorting table, followed by de-stemming and light crushing. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25ºC, in mills with mechanical treading. Aging in new 500 liter French oak barrels for 18 months, followed by aging in bottle.

TASTING NOTES: Deep and concentrated ruby color. Aromas of black fruit jam and spice, perfectly integrated with the toasted notes from the aging in wood. In the mouth it has a good structure, prolonged with a long and persistent finish.

PAIRING: Ideally paired with red meat and game dishes.
