The Touriga Nacional Paço dos Infantes varietal is produced from grapes harvested manually at Herdade da Lisboa. It is a red that ferments in a mill and ages in 500 liter French oak barrels for 10 months. It has a deep ruby color and aroma dominated by the fruit, in balance with soft toasted notes from the aging in wood. The fine and well-polished tannin gives rise to a structured mouthfeel, marked by elegance.

It goes very well with meat and fish dishes from traditional Portuguese cuisine, game, mushroom risotto and intensely flavored cheeses, for example.
