Paço dos Infantes Touriga Nacional 2018 won the Gold medal in the spring 2021 edition of Mundus Vini, one of the most important wine competitions in Germany and the world.

The 28th edition of Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2021 was the first relevant international wine competition this year and distinguished 190 Portuguese wines, with Portugal being the 4th most awarded country. In total, 7335 wines from 39 producing countries were tested.

The selection of the winning wines was made in blind tasting by a jury of around two hundred leading names in the wine world, from five dozen countries, including winemakers, sommeliers, producers and journalists specialized in the area.
